Spring is beginning here in the Pacific Northwest, and although it is still sprinkled with winter we have had a few sunny days in the past week, which is encouraging.
On one of those sunny days, as I was cutting felt for some projects, I felt compelled to just drop everything and get outside. I took some cuttings from the plants that are starting to show their spring colors, arranging the floral bouquets in glass mason jars, which I then decorated with felt ribbons and flowers.

This might have not been on my "to do" list (which I have a hard time breaking away from), but the spontaneous break turned out to be a necessary breath of fresh air, and I returned to my work inspired.
I hope these spring days open your eyes to all the young life around you.
