My trip to New York City last week was incredibly fun. Each day was filled with exploring the city, eating yummy food, and of course a fun felt craft demo and book signing for Kata Golda's Hand-stitched Felt.
The project of choice for this trip was my felt finger puppets — easy to learn, quick to make, and fun for each person to personalize. If you missed out, or want to see the demo again, you can watch the Etsy Virtual Labs video: Felt Finger Puppets with Kata Golda.
Once again I want to thank all the people who hosted me and made it so much fun:
- STC Craft | Melanie Falick Books
- Kate's Paperie
- Handmade Crafternoon at the New York Public Library
- Books of Wonder
- Etsy Craft Night
- all the people who attended (and the new friends I made as a result)
Now that I'm home it's back to filling orders, tending my garden, and sorting through the photos from my trip. I'll post them here and on my Facebook fan page as I go through them.
